Hello & welcome to SuthrnPrincess Tuts. I am so excited that you stopped in to see what I have made with the gorgeous tubes and fabby kits that are out there. You will find FTU & PTU kits as well as FTU & PTU Tubes are used in my tutorials. If you run into a problem on a tut please feel free to email me and I will help if I can. My use of a FTU tube does not give you permission to use it. I have obtained permission either from the artist themselves or through a group to use their artwork. You need to personally contact them to obtain permission before using.

postheadericon Rockin' The Attitude






Supplies:

Tube of choice. I used the amazingly sexy work of Nicholas Garton available at UpYourArt.
FTU Kit Rockin' The Attitude by Mirella available on her blog
Plug In: Xero
Font of choice. I used Carlotta.




Let's Get Started:
Open a new 700 x 700 image.
Paste Element 45 to the new image.
Paste paper 14. Image> Resize to 75%. Drag under the frame layer. Select the frame layer and use your wand tool to click in the center of the frame. Selections> Modify> Expandy by 10. Selections> Invert. Select your paper layer and then hit the delete key on your keyboard.
Paste the tube of choice. I resized mine to 90% . Position as desired within the frame.
Effects> PlugIns> Xero> Porcelain: Softness 50, Strength 128, Brightness 128, Red Channel 0, Green Channel 0. Blue Channel 255.
Duplicate the tube layer and change the Blend Mode of the top layer to Soft Light.
Merge the two tube layers together.
Duplicate and drag to where one layer is under the frame and one is over the frame. Use your erase tool to remove the portion of the top tube layer that is over the bottom portion of the frame. Use the erase tool to also remove any part of the bottom tube that is visible unver the frame.
Effects> 3D Effects> Drop Shadow: Vertical 2, Horizontal 2, Opacity 75, blur 5, Color black.
Paste Element 64. Drag to the bottom layer and position at the top left.
Paste element 50. Resize to 75%. Drag to top layer and position as desired at the bottom of the frame.
Paste element 23. Resize to 50%. Position at the right of the frame.
Paste element 10. Resize to 35%. Position to the bottom right of the frame.
Duplicate the element and then Image> Mirror.
Paste element 59. Image resize to 50%. Drag layer above frame. Position at the top right.
Paste element 48. Resize to 50%. Position in the center of the feathers.
Paste element 19. Image> Free Rotate: Left 50 degrees. Drag behind paper. Position to the left. Duplicate and Mirror.
Paste element 28. Drag layer behind the bow layer. Resize to 75%. Position behind at top right.
Paste element 67. Drag behind music notes layer. Position to left of frame.
Merge Visible.
Resize to 650 x 650
Add Copyright.
Add name with desired font. I used Carlotta size 72 bold color #a07dae.
Adjust> Add/Remove Noise: Gaussian 50 Monochrome checked.
Effects> 3D Effects> Drop Shadow. Vertical 2 Horizontal 2, Opacity 100, blur 5.
Merge Visible.
Save as PNG.
