Supplies:

 

Autumn Splendor template by K'Lani Designs available on blog.

 

PTU kit Illuminated Autumn by Baby Cakes availabe at Scraps With Attitude.

 

Autumn Splendor mask by Tonya available on the Creative Misfits blog (posted 9-27-11).

 

Tube of choice. I used an Exclusive tube from Pics For Design.

 

PlugIns: MuRa's Meister- Copies

 

Font of choice. I used Volutes.

 

 

 

 

 

Let's Get Started:

 

Open template in psp.

 

Shift +D.

 

Clode the original.

 

Delete Raster 1 & 3 and the shadow layer.

 

Image> Canvas Size 835 width by 500 height.

 

Paste paper_seven. Image>Resize to 75%. Drag to the top layer. Position over the "splendor" wordart. Select the "splendor" wordart layer. Selections> Select All. Selections> Float. Selections> Defloat. Selections> Invert. Select the paper layer and hit the delete key on your keyboard. Selections> Select None.

 

Adjust> Add/Remove Noise> Add Noise: Gaussian 50 monochrome checked.

 

Delete "splendor" layer.

 

Paste paper_one. Drag over the "Autumn" layer. Select the "Autumn" wordart layer. Selections> Select All. Selections> Float. Selections> Defloat. Selections> Invert. Select the paper layer and hit the delete key on your keyboard. Selections> Select None.

 

Adjust> Add/Remove Noise> Add Noise: Gaussian 100 monochrome checked.

Delete "Autumn" layer.

 

Paste tube. Image>Resize to 35%. Duplicate and hide one layer. Drag above the "Autumn Background" layer.

 

Effects> PlugIns> MuRa's Meisters> Copies:

 

 

Select the "Autumn Background" layer. Selections> Select All. Selections> Float. Selections> Defloat. Selections> Invert. Select the tube layer and hit the delete key on your keyboard. Selections> Select None.

 

Change the blend mode to Luminance (L).

 

Select the "Autumn Background" layer and duplicate. Drag above the tube layer.

 

Change the blend mode to Overlay. Lower Opacity to 50.

 

Merge the tube layer down.

 

Merge the duplicate layer down.

 

Unhide the duplicate layer. Image>Resize to 75%. Drag to the top layer. Position over the "A" and the "U".

 

Effects> 3D Effects> Drop Shadow: vertical 2, horizontal 2, opacity 50, blur 5, color black.

 

Select the top "Autumn" layer. Drop shadow same settings.

 

Select the "Splendor" layer. Drop shadow same settings.

 

Paste bow3. Image> Resize to 75%. Drag under the "splendor" layer. Position over the bottom of the "T".

 

Drop shadow same settings.

 

Paste birdhouse. Image>Resize to 35%. Drag to the bottom layer. Position behind the "N".

 

Drop shadow same settings.

 

Paste berries. Image>Resize to 65%. Image> Mirror. Drag behind the "splendor" layer. Position behind the "r". Erase the stem under the letter "o".

 

Drop shadow same settings.

 

Paste deco3. Image> Resize to 75%. Drag to the bottom layer. Position at the bottom of the "Autumn" layer.

 

Drop shadow same settings.

 

Paste cluster5. Image> Resize to 25%. Drag under the ribbon layer. Position behind the tube.

 

Drop shadow same settings.

 

Paste grapeleaves. Drag to bottom layer. Position to the left. Duplicate. Image> Mirror. Image> Flip.

 

Merge down.

 

Lower the opacity to 85%.

 

Drop shadow same settings.

 

Paste ribbons. Image> Resize to 25%. Drag above the top "Autumn" layer. Position over the letter "N".

 

Drop shadow same settings.

 

Paste butterflies. Image>Resize to 45%. Position to the left. Duplicate. Image> Mirror.

 

Merge down.

 

Drop shadow same settings.

 

Merge visible.

 

Paste paper_two. Drag to the bottom. Stretch with pick tool to fit the image width wise.

 

Open mask in psp.

 

Select tag. Layers> New Mask Layer> From Image: find the mask layer in the source window, source luminance checked, Invert Mask data deselected.

 

Stretch to fit canvas with pick tool.

 

Merge group.

 

Merge visible.

 

Image>Resize to 650 width by 389 height.

 

Add copyright.

 

Add name with font of choice. I used Volutes size 48 bold color #fdc461.

 

Adjust> Add/Remove Noise> Add Noise: Gaussian 20 monochrome checked.

 

Drop shadow: vertical 2, horizontal 2, opacity 75, blur 3, color black.

 

Merge visible.

 

Save as PNG.
