Supplies:

 

PTU kit Happy New Year by Designs by Sarah available at Pimp My Tags With Scraps.

 

Brandi- Glitter & Grunge- GG_CM_Mask1 on the Creative Misfits Blog (posted 11-5-10).

 

Tube of choice. I used Maryline Cazenave available at Creative Design Outlet.

 

Font of choice. I used Yummah Strawberriez.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Let's Get Started:

 

Open a new 700 by 700 image.

 

Paste circle 1. Duplicate. Image> Free Rotate to the right 10 degrees.

 

Adjust> Color> Channel Mixer: Output channel - Grey; Red - 200; Green - 200; Blue - 200; Contrast- -24; monochrome checked.

 

Merge down.

 

Paste pp6. Image>Resize to 90%. Drag behind circle. Duplicate. Hide 1 layer. Select circle. Click inside with wand tool. Selections> Modify> Expand by 10. Selections> Invert. Select the paper layer and hit the delete key on your keyboard. Selections> Select None.

 

Open the mask in psp.

 

Unhide and select the duplicate layer.

 

Layers> New Mask Layer. From Image: Select the mask in the source drop down. Select Source Luminance. Deselect Invert mask data.

 

Merge Group.

 

Lower opacity to 55%. Stretch mask to desired size.

 

Merge the paper and new mask layer together.

 

Paste tube. Drag to the top layer. Position at the bottom of the frame.

 

Effects> 3D Effects> Drop Shadow: vrtical 2, horizonta 2, opacity 50, blur 5, color black.

 

Select the circle layer and drop shadow same settings.

 

Paste banner2. Position to where it looks like tube is laying on the banner.

 

Drop shadow same settings.

 

Paste sequins. Image>Free Rotate: 90 degrees. Drag behind the banner. Position at the bottom. Erase the desired sequins.

 

Paste glitter spray 2. Position at the top. Drag to the bottom layer.

 

Paste clock. Image>Resize to 35%. Drag behind the banner. Position to the left of the tube.

 

Drop shadow same settings.

 

Paste champagne bucket. Image>Resize to 35%. Position to the right.

 

Drop shadow same settings.

 

Paste champagne glass. Image>Resize to 25%. Position next to the bucket.

 

Drop shadow same settings.

 

Pate bow1. Image>Resize to 40%. Position at the top of the circle.

 

Drop shadow same settings.

 

Merge visible.

 

Image> Canvas Size: 650 width by 650 height.

 

Recenter with pick tool.

 

Add copyright.

 

Add name with font of choice. I used Yummah Stawberriez size 48 Bold color #dc949d.

 

Adjust> Add/Remove Noise> Add Noise: Gaussian 15 monochrome checked.

 

Drop shadow changing opacity to 100 and blur to 6.

 

Merge visible.

 

Save as PNG.
